Bakit sila?

Bakit maalwan na sila? Bakit may Blesssings sila na ganun? Bakit nag level up sila?

Nagpepray ba sila? Nagwoworship ba sila? May faith ba sila sayo?

Bakit kami, hanggang ngayon, ganito pa lang?

Bakit kahit nagpapagal ako para sa’yo, ganito pa rin ako?

Let’s learn from this Psalm of Asaph

Psalm 73

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73:2‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬
[2] But as for me, my feet came close to stumbling, My steps had almost slipped.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73:21‭-‬26‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬
[21] ¶When my heart was embittered And I was pierced within, [22] Then I was stupid and ignorant; I was like an animal before You. [23] Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. [24] You will guide me with Your plan, And afterward receive me to glory. [25] ¶Whom do I have in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth. [26] My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

SALIN: Salt and Light

Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

#SALIN

Salt and Light of this Nation.
SA-LI-N
Salin = transfer.

In college, I learned the difference of share and transfer.

Sharing is giving a portion of what we have while
Transferring is giving all that we have to another.

Now, as SALT and LIGHT of this nation, we must not only share the Truth.

Let us not contain any information or blessing to ourselves—that’s being selfish.

We must transfer it to someone else.

The amazing thing about transferring what we know an what we have is that we will never be left empty.

Instead, we will still be left full so we can continue our good works.

Devotional: Like Sheep without a Shepherd

004.

From: Lead Like Jesus: 21 Days of Leadership

March 13, 2019: Like Sheep without a Shepherd
Scripture: Matthew 9:36

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

He has walked in our paths, understood our stresses, struggled with our temptations, and is intimately acquainted with our needs. He came to earth because He loves us.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son”.

Jesus was once like us. He experienced everything a person can experience–stress, hate, love, hardship, victory. Name it. He was a man and He chose to make himself nothing (Philippians 2:6-8) like us so He can understand us.

He was able to see what people are lacking and on the Book of Matthew, specifically He has seen people lacking peace, safety, and help. Jesus was able to know what they needed that time.

Even today, Jesus never failed to know what we are needing.
He knows when we feel down and need to be cheered up.
He knows when we feel broken and need to be made whole.
He knows when we feel unloved and need to feel loved.
He knows when we feel we have nothing left and need to be reminded that He is the great provider.
He knows when we feel alone and frightened and need to be reminded that He is with us and we can do all things through Him.
He is omniscient. He knows everything.

He is compassionate. Knowing what we lack and need is not the end game. He will give us what should be given to us. He exactly knows how much we need and when we need it.

In leading people, a leader must be sensitive enough to know what his/her brothers and sisters are experiencing. He/she must have a big helping hand for them. That’s compassion.
This applies to all kinds of leadership – may it be in church, in the office or in the family. It is important to know what the people need and provide in any way to fulfill it. A leader must be one with the people.

Devotional: A Fresh Start

003.

From: Lead Like Jesus: 21 Days of Leadership

February 27, 2019: A Fresh Start

Scripture: Lamentations 3:22-23

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

The newness of each day reflects God’s ongoing work of grace, grace that frees us from the past and offers a way forward.

Every day is God’s reminder of His renewed grace and mercy for us.

Grace. What a beautiful word. Very deep, difficult to comprehend, yet a wonderful experience.

Yes, grace is an experience. A customized gift that God is constantly preparing for us since the time we were born. Each day we receive it.

Waking up looking forward on the day ahead opposite of the tiring day that we ended with a prayer the night before, is grace.

The reconciled brothers and sisters as if nothing bad had happened is grace.

A task given to you at work to improve and prove your competence is grace.

The new restaurant you tried with your friends today at lunch aside from the usual fast food chain near you is grace.

News from the internet about the success of a scholar-student, or 100 bikes donated to a high school in a far province is grace.

See, everything that happens around us, either we are directly involved to it or not, is a manifestation of His grace. He is at work in our lives—EVERYDAY.

For us, let us notice it. Let us acknowledge it. Let us recognize it.

Let us be humble and be grateful for the King’s Son, is giving us everything that we think we do not deserve.

Let me emphasize that we are deserving of His ongoing work of grace for we are His sons and daughters. We just have to own it and live it.

Have a graceful day ahead!

The Logo.

001.

Hi! Welcome to the blogging world, self!

For a start, let’s talk about The Logo. I’ve always loved [creating] images. I have the image in my mind, then I do look for ideas to improve my “image”.

This logo, as for the title “It’s always seven”, shows that each one of us has equal seven days and seven nights a week.

Seven beginnings and seven endings a week.

Seven fresh opportunities to take millions of chances to make our lives better than yesterday, and better tomorrow than today.

It’s not always day, it’s not  always night. We may feel the longest day of happiness, joy, fulfillment, fame of our lives. But it doesn’t remain. We may feel the longest night of sorrow and loneliness, but it doesn’t remain.

We all experience the same one sun rise and set, and our only moon show up and hide its face — thus the inspiration of the logo.

The logo is not unique, I know. I just did it within an hour or so. I got the idea from the 24-hour logo of a fast food chain here in the country, but nonetheless, there is more beyond what you see. I may update it once in a while but its meaning will always stay the same.

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

This blog will be all about this.
